Sugar Garden Silicone Molds were especially designed with cake decorators in mind. Created using the finest quality silicone, most of our molds are three-dimensional making them ideal when a cake needs to be viewed from all angles. Our molds can be placed in the freezer and in the oven up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sugar Garden Silicone Molds are suitable to use with chocolate, rolled fondant, sugarpaste, poured sugar, Isomalt, modeling chocolate, pastillage, candy clay, royal icing and marzipan. They are also suitable to use with such non-food items as polymer clay, soap, wax, plaster and cold porcelain. Please note that once a mold is used for a non-food item it is no longer safe to use for food. Please keep this in mind when you use your molds. All measurements are to the nearest ¼ inch. Three-Dimensional molds will be identified as such; otherwise, all molds are two-dimensional and will have a flat back.
Due to the intricacy of some of our designs, molds may be sliced to facilitate the molding and demolding process. Slicing does not affect the quality or life of the mold or your finished piece. If using a sugar dough, simply insert the dough, align the sliced area, place rubberbands around the mold and place the mold in the freezer to allow the dough to harden a bit before demolding. If using soap or wax, leave the rubberbands in place making sure to align the sliced area. Once cooled, remove the rubberbands and tug on the sliced area to remove your finished item.
Silicone molds are shipped separately from our sugar decorations and sugar flowers to avoid breakage. Molds are poured upon payment. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for pouring and curing (weather permitting) before shipping. Sugar Garden molds are copyright protected and may not be reproduced. All silicone molds are inspected before shipping and will not be replaced if damaged in use.
